AFTER AN INTRODUCTORY LESSON TO THE WHOLE SCHOOL ABOUT THE HOUR OF CODE AND HOW IMPORTANT COMPUTER PROGRAMMING IS, THE ENTIRE SCHOOL PARTICIPATED IN THE HOUR OF CODE. EACH STUDENT LEARNED HOW COMPUTER PROGRAMMERS CODE GAMES AND IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS. THE STUDENTS LOVED IT AND ARE INTERESTING IN MAKING THIS THEIR CAREER!

KINDERGARTEN danced using codes!
THIRD GRADE worked on coding our classroom robots Dash and Dot. We designed a maze for Dash to move through, then coded him to reach his ending point.
4TH GRADE EXPLORES CODING WITH MINECRAFT!

By "programming" one another to draw pictures, students will begin to understand what programming is really about. The class will begin by having students instruct each other to color squares in on graph paper in an effort to reproduce an existing picture. If there’s time, the lesson can conclude with images that the students create themselves. |
