100th day of school!

P.S/i.S 192 celebrates the 100th day of school with multiple stem activities and projects.

Class 6*411 celebrated the 100th Day of School with a STEM challenge: Build the tallest pyramid using only 100 toothpicks and mini  marshmallows!

Class 8-512 researched aerospace engineering.  The students were broken up into groups to research the following questions:

1: what is an aerospace engineer and where do they work?
2: What is the history of aerospace engineering?
3: What do aerospace engineers do? what are some recent developments?
4: how do you become an aerospace engineer?
5: Famous Aerospace engineer: Boback Ferdoski
6: Famous aerospace engineer: burt rutan

Then they shared out the information they found. After the presentations they research paper-airplane designs and tested them out to see which was they best design and why.
